Apple Launches New Help Center to Fix Broken Products

April 11, 2023 – Apple has recently launched a new help center to assist customers with broken or damaged Apple products. The center is staffed with highly-trained, qualified technicians who will diagnose and fix customers’ devices.

When will the help centers open?
The first couple help centers are expected to open as soon as June 2023. We estimate it will take until about 2025 for all Apple stores in America to be outfitted with the help centers.

The center is equipped to handle repairs for all Apple products, including iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches.

What types of repairs can be done at the help center?
The center can perform a wide range of repairs, from replacing a cracked screen to fixing software issues. Product cleanings are also available which will clean out speakers and charging ports.

How does the repair process work?
Customers can book an appointment with a technician either online or in an Apple Store. The technician will diagnose the problem and provide an estimate for the repair. If the customer agrees to the estimate, the repair will be completed in a timely manner.

What is the cost of repairs?
The cost of repairs is meant to be as reasonable for the customer as possible but will also vary depending on the type of repair and the product being fixed. Customers can receive a quote for the repair before agreeing to the service.

How long does the repair process take?
The time of the repair process depends on the problem with the product and the availability of parts. In most cases, repairs can be completed on the same day. Our repair centers will be provided with all the parts Apple products would need to be repaired, but shipments cannot arrive every day with new parts, so in cases where a part is needed it may take as long as a couple days to receive the needed part for the fix.

Is there a warranty for repairs?
Yes, all repairs come with a 90-day warranty for parts and labor.
