DiGiorno Social Media Message

Social Media Message

The two social media sources that will be used to promote this event are Instagram and Twitter.

Instagram and Twitter are perfect candidates for social media posts for this type of event. This is because Twitter and Instagram are very frequently used by college students so they will be able to see these posts and know about the event. While many people would think that Facebook would be an obvious choice of a social media platform for this assignment I believe that Facebook would not be as successful. This is because while facebook is one of the most popular social media platforms it is not generally used by most college students. Now if this event was not just for college students Facebook and Twitter would be the best options for social media posts because both those platforms are generally used by the larger percentage of the population.

Dear Bryan Washington

We are excited to announce a special event for college students across the country! From March 10-13, any college student with a valid student ID can receive one free DiGiorno pizza at any Walmart location.

We understand that college life is stressful, and we want to give students a little break and something to look forward to this semester. That’s why we’ve partnered with Walmart to offer this special promotion exclusively for college students.

In order to receive your free pizza, you will have to show your valid student ID at the Walmart service desk between March 10-13. There will be a selection of tasty DiGiorno pizzas available, including four cheese rising crust, pepperoni and sausage, veggie, and classic cheese. There are no strings attached, and no purchase is necessary to redeem your free pizza.

We hope that this promotion will provide a nice treat for hard working college students everywhere and promote DiGiorno Pizza across the country. Please spread the word and share this offer with your friends.

Thank you for your time, and we hope to see you at Walmart!

Sincerely,

Sean McBroom
